Now I have shoulder hair length hair!!!

I didn't asked for it to be cut till so short but I think the hair stylist wanted to snip away all my ugly bleached portions and that's why it ended up so short.

Having bittersweet feeling with my hair right now man haha

A Day in JB #04 & 05: Staycation at KSL Resort!

Throwback to when I had my recess week in October, me and ma boy decided to book a room at KSL Resort, Johor Bahru through Agoda to have a staycation and take a chill pill from all the stress I'm getting in school back then.

We didn't take any pictures in the room as it wasn't very interesting in our opinion so this post will be focused on some of the highlights of what we did during the 2D1N in Johor :)

The first thing would be the international buffet that we had at KSL Resort's Infusion Cafe Restaurant! :)

Ewha Summer Studies Day #19 : Everland

Throwback to Day 19 of my time in Korea!

We went on a field trip organized by Ewha University to the Everland Theme Park!!!

Everland is like half theme park half zoo kinda place so it's really interesting!!

Field trips are weekly organized by Ewha to bring us around popular places of Korea and Everland is seriously super popular among the locals cuz a lot of our PEACE buddies are super excited about this field trip and has the highest attendance among all the other field trips!! :)

This is actually my second time here at Everland and initially, I was planning to skip this field trip as I've been there before alrdy. However, YX convinced me to go for it as it would have been very expensive to go to Everland on our own and moreover, she has not been there before so we both decided to go and I'm so glad that I decided to go to Everland because so much has changed since the last time I visited it (the last time I went was during their winter season)!

And also because this time I went during the summer times, the animals at certain areas of the theme park are more active and we got to saw phenomenal, once-in-a-lifetime moments!! :)

Pasta De Waraku

Today, I will be blogging about my experience at Pasta De Waraku, a Japanese Casual Pasta & Cafe Restaurant. Just to spoil you a little first, it is a mixed review. I am not in anyway an expert in reviewing food so this is just purely on how I truly feel about the food served in layman terms haha.

I've had great and jialat (bad) experiences with this restaurant chain so read on if you are somebody who loves pasta like me (read on also if you don't in case if you have friends who likes pasta :D).

I will start off with my good experience with Pasta De Waraku.

The last time I went to Pasta De Waraku was when I was still in my poly year 1 days where the restaurant had attractive promotions for students. Me and my friends frequent the restaurant and when they decided to end the student promotion, we just stop going to the restaurant because it was kinda pricey for us back when we didn't have any income, savings or whatsoever. The food back then was pretty good and consistent in standards :)

So I am starting my impression on Pasta De Waraku afresh because it's been about 2 years ( or maybe more ) since I've visited this restaurant.

My first dining experience at this restaurant this year was around in end of May with ma boy at the Changi Airport outlet around 3pm (awkward timing for a meal haha).

We were supposed to go to Namdaemun market to have some oiishii Hotteok for lunch but we ended up spotting SBS's camera man when we were going out of Ewha university!

And after that, we decided to follow the camera man and there's a large pool of people outside Top Ten (a Korean fashion store)!!!

And you know what!!!

The Garden of Morning Calm is about 1.5 to 2 hours travelling time from Seoul but it's worth the time in my opinion as the scenery is really G.O.O.D!!!

Car Accident

As the title states, I got into a car accident yesterday late afternoon while on my way back home in my friend's car. It's our first time getting into a car accident and there's only one word I can say about the entire incident - Shock.

Everything happened so quickly and before I even knew it, *BANG*!!!!!! We hit the car in front of us who stopped out of the blue in the middle of the highway. I don't know what is the cause of him stopping the car suddenly.

After a few seconds hitting the car in front, the next thing we notice is another *BANG* on our back because a motor cyclist hit into us because of the sudden stop. That's when things got even more serious because the motor cyclist was injured :(

Hello everybody!! I need a short rant. I really need one.

My school work is starting to pile up at a rapid speed and there's so much things to catch up (catching up is not a good sign ><)! Sigh

Anyway, I just wanna say that no matter how much work you have on hand, you still need to have work life balance and take a chill pill when needed!!

I personally think that working your ass off until you go berserk is not worth it at all because life is too short to not take some time off to enjoy and relax. You need to be in control of your life instead of having your work controlling your everything! If your work is controlling your life, you may wanna reconsider whether this is seriously what you want in life.

Anyhoo, I needed a chill pill from my school work so on one of the weekdays where ma boy had his off, we went to IPPUDO Ramen at Westgate to have some Japanese ramen for lunch yo!~ hahaha

Recently after returning from Korea, I've been pretty into makeup!!! In the past, I was only interested in skincare as you can see in my previous haul (I'm still pretty obsessed with skincare products haha) and didn't really give makeup much thought at all! But after spending a month in Korea and seeing so many chio bu in Korea wherever I go, I can't help but start looking into makeup hahaha

So for my upcoming Korean haul post, you'll get to see lots of skincare and makeup stuffs that I've purchased during my recent Korea Summer Studies trip hahaha

Ewha Summer Studies Day #13: Busan Part 1!

Hello everybody!! Today's post is a super exciting post cuz it's about my first trip to Busan!!! ^_^

YAYYYYYYYY!!!

I've finally got the chance to visit Busan! My previous trips were too rushed and short to really travel around Korea (out of Seoul to be exact) so I'm really excited for this trip actually!! :)

In addition, YX's PEACE Buddy followed us to Busan as well!! So thankful for that and really grateful that she took a lot of effort to bring us around Busan and have fun with us! And I'm glad that she managed to take this opportunity to go back to her hometown as well (her hometown is about an hour drive from Busan called Jinheng!!)

I will be splitting my Busan trip into two cuz I went there for 2D1N and there's a lot of stuffs to see!! ^_^

So without further ado, here comes Busan Part 1!! :)

I've been getting extremely jialat (a.k.a. bad) hormonal breakout for the past few days and I thought this would be a good timing to briefly share with you guys what I do whenever I get painful zits on my face!

If you're like me who's all busy with school work and do not have time to do clay mask or whatsoever, this is a convenient and effective method to calm down painful zits fast!

And that is to SPAM your acne cream on those painful spots like a mask and leave it on for the entire night!!! :)

Ewha Summer Studies Day #09 - #10: Itaewon x ChangDeokGung x Huwon

Hello everybody!! I'm so sorry that I took so long to blog again after my Vietnam trip cuz I fell really sick after the trip. >_< I was having super bad body aches that even panadol couldn't cure and all I could do was lie on my bed and rest >_<

But no worries, I'm back up again and I am trying my best to blog about the remaining days in Korea which I've yet to blog about before all my school work starts to pile up like crazy T.T

So let's go back to 1st July 2014, which is my 9th day in Korea :)

Our itinerary for today was to visit Itaewon so after school, me and YX went to Sinchon station to travel to Itaewon but we did not know that we went to the wrong station!!!

Sinchon (of the same name) has two different stations which is running on different line, one is the Gyeonggui line and the other one is Line 2 which runs around the heart of Seoul.

So end up, we were at the station running on Gyeonggui line and there's only one train HOURLY.

We were contemplating whether to turn back and walk to the Line 2 station or just YOLO and just try this station, but we end up tapping into this station (partly becuz the train was about to come liao :P) hahahaha

I'm finally (and sadly) back from Korea from my summer studies trip at Ewha University!! But I'll be flying off to Vietnam in a few hours time for another OCIP trip to create a (slightly cuz I can only contribute through labour and teaching) better future for others!! :)

I'm so sorry for the slow updates as I was very busy walking around Seoul (and Busan for 2D1N) so I couldn't find time to blog >_<

Ewha Summer Studies Day #00 - #01: Flight x Toksokchon x Juno Hair

Hello guys! Sorry for the lack of update for the past week, I was really busy exploring Seoul and hanging out with our peace buddies here in Ewha University! Peace buddies are local Ewha University students who are matched with international students like us to help us adjust our lives better during our time here! :)

But me and my roommate have decided that every Saturday will be our rest day so that we can give ourselves a good rest before going out to explore Korea further haha.

I'll start off with Day #00 first :)

We took a night flight with Singapore Airlines this time :) It's been a long time since I've taken SQ for traveling because their airfares are always very expensive. But honestly speaking, after having tried Malaysia Airlines during my last Korea trip in January (before the MH370 incident), I would say Malaysia Airlines flight was more spacious and comfortable compared to the flight I took for this time with SQ. >_<

Going to Korea (again) SOON!!!

This trip will be different from my previous ones as I will be going on a Summer Studies trip this time at Ewha Womens University :) Me and my friend signed up for their Korean Ceramics course as we are just so sick of any modules that has to do with any theories and memorization because we've had enough here in NTU. >_<

[Review] Innisfree Bija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R & W

Hi everybody, today I will be sharing with you guys my views on the Innisfree Bija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R & W. :) Lately, I've been having really super painful breakouts around my chin area and they are just super annoying cuz when one heals, another one pops up on my face. UGH

Somehow I find my old anti-trouble spot treatments from THEFACESHOP and Body Shop have stopped working out for me (they used to work really well for my zits to be honest) so I'm planning to use other brands' spot treatments before going back to using the ones that I've tried before (I still have spare ones in my house that's why) to see if they will work on me again. >_<

So I've decided that it's a good time to give these two spots treatments (cuz there are so many zits to experiment on) which I've bought during my Korea trip a try :) I've been using these two essences for the past 1-2 months so my verdict (a.k.a opinion) is final for these two products. :D

These two spot treatments are actually meant for two different kind of acne conditions so they are meant to be used together on different areas of your skin (depending on where your zits are) and that's why I bought both of them together :)

Laneige Brighten Up Workshop

I'm finally back to blogging!!!

So sorry everybody for haven't been blogging for an entire month but I was really busy with my school work, exams and my 21st Birthday celebration for the past month so I was practically either super busy with school or going out like mad (after exams of course haha) every single day!

But I'm back now for good haha and in this past month, I have also finished using some of my skincare products and also bought new ones from Laneige to make use of my membership birthday gift haha so be sure to stay tune as I will be posting my reviews and opinions on them soon! :)

Today, I will be sharing with you guys my experience during the Laneige Brighten Up Workshop which I attended back in March. Yes I know, this is a super long overdue post but it's still better late than nothing right? :)

Back in February, my friends and I signed up for the Laneige Brighten Up Workshop as we have not attend a make up and skincare workshop before so we thought of going for it and learn how to improve our skin! :D

[Review] Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence VS Missha First Treatment Essence

Today I'll be doing a review on both the highly raved Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence as well as the Missha First Treatment Essence together side by side!!!

They are both well known for being the dupes of the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and I'm so excited to do this review because when I was doing my research on these two products before my purchase of them, there are rarely any reviews out there which features these two products side by side to compare their results! SO, I decided to DO IT and share it with all the ladies out there!!! ^^

Just for your information, ALL pictures in this blogpost are 100% unedited in order to show the ultimate accurate results of the products.

Anyway, I didn't managed to get these two items when I was in Korea as I only discovered them after I came back :( But still, I got them both in a smaller size from Carousell so that I can try them out first before I purchase the full size one!
