Back to Day 20 of my time in Seoul!!
It was a Saturday and our plan was to visit the Hongdae Free Market which was recommended on the Korea Tourism website! This is the place where people showcase their artworks for sale and it was very crowded!!
Super crowded man! Can fight with Myeongdong liao.
The artwork showcased here is indeed very unique and most of them are hand made! However, the downside is the price tag is way too high for us so we didn't manage to get anything at the Free Market. But it was still a good experience though! :)
After visiting the Free Market, we continued to walk around Hongdae until late afternoon before we went back to Ewha for dinner at a super oiishii place!!! :)
This is the place we had dinner at - Hukusushi!!
Their sushi is heavenly good man seriously!! Totally love it!! <3<3<3
And you don't have to worry if you don't understand Korean because the owners of this restaurant are able to speak fluent English (Y)
When we were first there, the lady owner was very hospitable and try her best to make us comfortable and helped us in our food order and etc :)
But do take note that this place is VERY small so reservation is highly recommended through KakaoTalk!! :)

Free Hot Ocha and Miso soup are served with all orders! :)
And over here, the way sushi are served is slightly different because all the wasabi are put in the sushi itself and they don't have wasabi on the counter like Japanese restaurants in Singapore do for you to add more wasabi if you want to spice things up even more.
Instead, they have ginger slices and garlic to go along with the sushi and I gotta tell you, these sushi together with the ginger slices taste HEAVENLY!!!
I do not know why but they really taste god damn good! Not sure is it because the way they made the ginger slices differently from the ones we normally have in Singapore, or the fish has a special taste or something, the combination of ginger slices and the fish sushi is seriously DELICIOUS!!
When I came back from Korea, I went to try this method of eating sushi at Itacho Sushi, it doesn't taste as good as the ones I had Hukusushi!!! It's just strange seriously but in a good way though so be sure to try out their sushi when you are in Ewha area! :)
My ultimate favorite is the Salmon Sushi set though which I will show you in my future post cuz I didn't had it on Day #20 :)
After dinner, YX went back to dorm to rest because she wasn't feeling very well on that day so I went out to Myeong Dong and Dongdaemun to shop hahaha

And also I got myself this Princess Make-up table from Etude House for just 4000won!!! Super cheap and I ALMOST missed this promotion so I was really glad that I made it in time to get this item at this pricing hahaha. Really can't wait to show you guys this product hahaha it's really cute!!!

Moving on to Day #21!
We start off our day at Alchon again for lunch before our meet up time for SBS Inkigayo field trip with Ewha woohoo haha
This time I ordered their Cream Pasta set that comes with the cream pasta, rice and salad!! :) The pasta tastes pretty good but I still like their Albab better hahaha. And I think it's their culture to have rice every meal even though the pasta alone is already super full already! You definitely don't see this very often in Singapore hahaha
After that we went to walk around Ewha and shopped at A'Pieu because they were having a huge 50% storewide sale for a week starting from that Sunday!!! I ended up putting my huge bag of loots at the store before I went to our meet up location for the coach to pick us up to go to SBS!! :P
Feeling really excited because all the time I only get to watch Korean music programs either on KBS World on TV or on YouTube, and this time round I get to see it LIVE!!!!!! Woohoo!!

But we weren't allowed to take any photos when we were inside though so I can't show you guys how it looks like inside the Inkigayo set! :(
And also we didn't managed to see f(x) and Taeyang perform at the rehearsal because they didn't came for it. :( We were quite sad about it because they were the ones we really hoped to be able to see >< But still, we managed to see GOT7 and experience how a music program runs and also how it feels like to be watching the artistes perform live during the program!!! :)

After the field trip, while we were waiting for YX's buddy to arrive for our dinner meet up, we decided to take a photo with main gate sign hahahaha
Everyday we see lots of tourists taking photo here so we join in the fun also muhaha
This time she brought us to this BBQ Meat store in Sinchon area which is famous for its 맛살갈비 #nomnom hehe
The Kimchi that this restaurant is kinda different because according to our buddy, it's an older type of kimchi (normal kimchi are fermented for 1 year or so whereas this one takes 2 years) so it's more sour and harder which surprisingly, I like it more and especially when you roast it on the grill, it tastes good (Y) You should really try it haha
The meat is considered cheap for 맛살갈비 and not to mention, it's super delicious haha

After finish eating the meat, it's one of their habits to order soup with rice or noodles and this time I chose doenjang jjigae ^_^
We then went to have Banana Makgeolli (alcoholic) at another restaurant called Warawara after dinner hehe!!
Fresh banana and makgeolli are blended on the spot when you order!
Usually I really dislike the taste of banana and I was kinda skeptical about whether I'll like this drink or not actually.
But turns out that it tastes really good and there isn't any banana taste to it!!! :D Love it! <3
We then went to sing karaoke!! hehe
Noraebangs here in Korea are super different cuz when the songs are played, there isn't any MV being displayed on the screen like Singapore's KTV!
Their remote controls are huge as well and you can fast forward songs when there's like a long instrumental interval in between a song! :) I wish Singapore KTVs have this functionality cuz long intervals eat up a lot of the precious time you have to sing!!

That's it to Day #20 to 21 of my time here in Seoul!! :)
I'm sorry that I haven't been blogging for a month cuz I was REALLY busy with my projects and examinations!! X.X
But now that it's all over now and it's the holiday now, I'm gonna blog a lot more so stay tune!!!!! *Wink*
