As promised, I'm back with an update of my newly purchased Clarisonic Mia 2!!
Before I start, do note that you may have different reactions after using the Clarisonic Mia 2 as everybody's skin is different! :)
For the past 1 week, I've been using the Mia 2 on low speed and only once a day! Also just to let you guys know, I do not put make up on my face. The only thing that I put on which is closest to putting on makeup is Sunblock!! :)
During the first 4 days, it was working really well! My skin texture got smoother and it's less red compared to before every time after I wash my face (my face tends to get a little red on the cheeks after washing it).
However, on Day 5, small bumps start to appear on my face which I believe is the Purging Phase that many people have been talking about when they first start to use their Clarisonic!
The bumps aren't really serious but it has been increasing for the past 2 days!
Here are some pictures of how my face looked after using the Clarisonic Mia 2 for one week!
Quite a number of red bumps on my forehead! This was non-existent during the first four days!
There are actually somemore smaller ones which the camera couldn't pick up!
Bumps just below my eye area!
Again, there are a few more small little ones which my camera couldn't pick up.
Overall look of the right side of my face!
Overall look of the left side of my face!
So that's how my face looked after 1 week of introducing the Clarisonic Mia 2 into my skincare routine! I would say that my Purging Phase isn't those that are very serious compared to what I've read in other blogs and watched on YouTube where they get really serious breakouts. So, I think it's just the Mia 2 "digging" out the dirts that are trapped deep inside my pores!
I will still keep using it and hopefully the Purging Phase will be over soon!! >_<
Will be back with an update again once the phase is over (or if I see another significant difference on my face)!! :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for showing, wasn't sure if mine was more of a purging or break out
ReplyDeleteHey dear, I would say give it a go for another few weeks to see if the condition gets better! For my skin, it became much better at around the 2 weeks mark but it's different for each individual so do take note of that. Hope it gets better soon for you! :)
Deletethank you for a great post.
