It's time for Busan Part 2!!! ^_^
We visited lots of place on the 1st day compared to the 2nd day hahaha
Note: many of the pictures in this post is taken with my Samsung Note 2 which has a super sucky, blur and unstable camera (I'm absolutely gonna get iPhone next!!) because I couldn't bring myself to shoot in the rain with my baobei EX2F (It was (sadly) raining for the entire day on our 2nd day here in Busan! ><) so please kindly bear with me!!!
-------------------
First stop is breakfast!!
We had our breakfast at Shinsegae Food Market after checking out from our hostel (our hostel was pretty near Shinsegae)!
According to our buddy, this Shinsegae in Busan is the biggest of all Shinsegae outlets and it even has it's own ice skating rink!
Waiting for our food~~~
Noodles for our buddy!! Kinda looks like Singapore's Fried Kway Teow though
Me & YX's fried rice! We both ordered the same dish haha
Random truck display in the department store! Pretty cool!!
The subway in Busan is similar to Seoul's just that the map of the subway is way simpler and easier to read haha
Next we went to Jagalchi Fish Market!!
It's pretty similar to the Sashimi Market that you see in my Part 1 post just that here at Jagalchi, the amount of fish you see here is MASSIVE.
There's just so many different varieties of seafood here!! @.@
Anyhoo, next we went to Busan International Film Festival area where they have handprints of famous people on the floors of the street!
Lots of street food stalls over here (if only it didn't rain >_<)
Random Hotteok street stall! I still prefer the Hotteok at Namdaemun! It's still the best of all :)
Map of this entire area!!
We got lost and somehow we ended up at this market called Bupyeong Market while we were trying to find our way to Nampo-dong!!
Our buddy don't even know Bupyeong Market existed to be honest with you guys!
But I'm glad that we encountered it cuz it's a fresh new experience :)
We encountered this random food store at the market which is famous for their bibimdangmyeon and according to our buddy, it's extremely delicious! :)
This is Bibimdangmyeon!!
It's similar to Bibimnaengmyeon which is mixed cold noodles but this one over here is not cold and taste MUCH better haha
Btw, do you know that Busan is known for their Odeng as well? It taste so much more awesome compared to Seoul's!!
Even their ddeokbokki tastes great as well!
(I <3 Busan!!!)
Afterwhich, we found our way to Nampo-dong which is a place like Myeong Dong in Busan!!
We happen to encounter a Traditional Korean performance while roaming the streets of Nampo-dong!! It was truly an eye opener ^_^
After walking for quite some time in the rain, we decided to go into the Lotte Aqua Mall to get some shelter and also to catch a water fountain show which is held inside the mall itself!! Where to get sia massive water fountain show INSIDE mall wohh!!
While we were waiting for the show to start, we window shopped around Lotte Aqua Mall and we encountered Khos which is opened by YG Entertainment hehe *fangirl mode ON*
Happen to also encounter a free manicure service as well (but only on ONE finger though hahahaha)
This is the water fountain show that I'm talking about!!
The show lasted for a good 15 minutes and they even used the water to create wordings!!
It's pretty amazing honestly speaking!! ^_^
Not only does this Lotte Aqua Mall has its own water fountain show, they even have a mini outdoor zoo at the 12th floor!!! :O
DEER IN THE MALL SIA!! Where to find in SG??????
But it's quite sad to see the animals (especially the rabbits) being all wet and muddy because of inadequate shelters provided for them! It would be much better if they had a more conducive environment for the animals in my opinion! ><
After exploring the mini zoo, we went to the rooftop level (13th Floor) to get the view of the entire Busan!!
Map of Busan!
Busan!!!!!!!! <3
I will certainly come back to Busan another time!! There's so many places which we haven't visited still!! ><
After exploring Lotte Aqua Mall, we went to take the subway to Busan Station to go back to Seoul!!
On our way to the subway station, we saw this building with a huge grasshopper drawing on it!! Reminds me of Yoo Jae Suk from Running Man sia seriously! hahaha
Can't believe 2D1N passed so damn quickly sia!!! :(((
My last meal in Busan, Tonkatsu!!
It's time to go back to Seoul!
And that's the end of our Busan trip!!
It was a god damn fruitful and fun trip and I love it totally as much as I love Seoul!! <3
I will be back for more in future definitely!! ^_^
Amazing blog. i am totally impressed by the outdoor zoo in the mall.
