Back to Day #27 of my time in Seoul!! :)
Starting off with lunch at Hukusushi AGAIN hahahahaha
Yes this is how good Hukusushi is to have us (mainly becuz of my craving for the salmon) keep going back for more sushi hahaha
Oh yes I forgot to mention, Hukusushi provides free Ocha as well!!! Terribly awesome hahaha
Singapore's Japanese restaurants always charge us for Ocha one ><
This time I decided order just 1 piece of their prawn sushi to try but uh uh, salmon is still da best (Y)
After lunch, we went to Myeongdong (as always) to change somemore currencies and do somemore shopping girrrrrlllll!!! Last minute shopping man!! hahaha and that took the entire of our afternoon :P
There, these are the things that I've managed to grab during today's shopping session hahaha
In the evening, we decided to go have dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant in Sinchon which our buddy wanted to bring us to because of it's super cheap meattttt but they were closed when we were with her that day! And on our way there, we saw a man spraying graffiti on the wall of graffiti in the shortcut tunnel to Sinchon! Pretty cool man haha
This is the restaurant! :) It's hidden in a small alley around the church. (Sorry I forgot the name of the church but it's the one that you will see when you walk straight down from Sinchon station)
You can see the church right before you turn into the alley!
Meat here is seriously very cheap! One serving of samgyeopsal only cost 3900 won whereas the one we normally go to cost around 10,000won!
However I would have to say in terms of meat quality, this one really lose out a lot because the meat are frozen so they are not as fresh and juicy.
But it is still a good choice if you're on a tight budget though (Y)
That concludes Day 27 haha
A pretty short one huh! Cuz I was too busy shopping already so I didn't take any pics at Myeongdong haha
Moving on to Day 28!!
For lunch, we went to Namdaemun Food Street to have my craving for the famous Hotteok there fixed and also to try out the food at the food street!
On days where the weather is very sunny and good, vendors will be lined up along the food section of Namdaemun Market :)
We ordered Jjapchae, Haemul Ddeok and Makchang and they are D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!
It was a really interesting and unique experience dining in the midst of the busy Namdaemun Market and I highly recommend it to everyone who's planning to visit Korea ^_^
After that, we went to Myeongdong AGAIN hahahaha
Mainly bcuz Namdaemun is like walking distance to Myeongdong so we might as well go haha
And I finally got the chance to have some O'Sulloc Macha hahaha
Have been wanting to try their green tea out for quite sometime and I have also bought tons of their skincare products too which I absolutely love and will be sharing with you guys once I've completed my travel log for all my days in Korea ^_^
After spending a short while in Myeongdong, we then went to Dongdaemun to shop for clothes this time because we have not finished shopping all three of the big malls in Dongdaemun haha
But first we went to Lotte FITIN cuz I wanted to look for some Kpop items and we came across G-Dragon's car which he used to use during his solo world tour!! It's so pretttttttty!!
This is where you will walk if you're going for the Hologram concert but we ain't going cuz it's too expensive! ><
SHOPPING TIME!!!!!!
We had an embarrassing moment during this shopping trip because we both thought we still have money with us because we just changed some currency just yesterday, but turns out that we were both zero in cash!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA
It was an epic moment man because we still wanted to shop but no more money liao!!! hahaha
Anw, we then quickly went back to Ewha to get some SGD to change currency and went to grab some bomb ass Jjajangmyeon for dinner!!
Mashisoyo!!!!!!!!! ^_^
That's the end of Day 28 and I have one more post to go before the travel log is complete!!!! It's finally coming to an end after 6 months from returning back to Singapore hahahaha
Sorry that I had to take so long to finish my log but I really had no choice because school work just gets piles up really badly and quickly ><
Anw, till next time we meet again hahaha
Stay tune!! ^_^
looks like you enjoyed to the max in the last few days of 2014!
ReplyDeleteAnyway happy new year! =D
this is how you should order!
where do you change your currencies at myeong dong?
ReplyDeleteI don't rmb the shop name anymore but from the myeong dong subway station exit 5, you walk towards the left (towards namdaemun market direction) and walk straight until you see a CU convenient store and then you turn into that alley and the money changer store will be on your right on the ground level. :) Hope this helps!
DeleteOMG, where did you eat that delicious-looking jjajangmyeon?
