Hello everybody!! It's been a long time since I've last blogged and from now on, I'm planning on turning my blog posts to photo posts (because I still take tons of photos despite having no time to blog LOL) and minimal words as I seriously have barely any time left to blog properly anymore with my first full time job as well as working as a freelance makeup artist. >< There's a lot for me to learn these days but not enough time, hence prioritization is key.

Starting out as a freelance MUA is no easy task as I'm not doing this for the sake of money (my main source of income is still my full time job) but because I really enjoy doing makeup and I'm constantly on the search for new knowledge to enhance my skills as well as appropriate photography equipments for shooting my creations. 

Still feeling kinda weird because I still remember not liking makeup at all in the past but things suddenly changed ever since my Korea Summer Studies trip haha. I'm now all about the foundation, blushers and etc. Even my long time friends still can't get used to my change, but they are very supportive (same for ma boy and ma mom) at the same time haha. So thankful hahaha 

 I'm really sorry my dear readers if I'm not as active or detailed with my blog posts as before! But I promise that my photos would be worth viewing, so do stay with still in future kays!! I will bring you along my makeup journey too as time goes by (it'll be a good channel for me to document things going on in my life and makeup journey down as well haha) *wink*

It was a relaxing and cozy staycation with the always awesome gang haha

Today, I will be blogging about my experience at Pasta De Waraku, a Japanese Casual Pasta & Cafe Restaurant. Just to spoil you a little first, it is a mixed review. I am not in anyway an expert in reviewing food so this is just purely on how I truly feel about the food served in layman terms haha.

I've had great and jialat (bad) experiences with this restaurant chain so read on if you are somebody who loves pasta like me (read on also if you don't in case if you have friends who likes pasta :D).

I will start off with my good experience with Pasta De Waraku.

The last time I went to Pasta De Waraku was when I was still in my poly year 1 days where the restaurant had attractive promotions for students. Me and my friends frequent the restaurant and when they decided to end the student promotion, we just stop going to the restaurant because it was kinda pricey for us back when we didn't have any income, savings or whatsoever. The food back then was pretty good and consistent in standards :)

So I am starting my impression on Pasta De Waraku afresh because it's been about 2 years ( or maybe more ) since I've visited this restaurant.

My first dining experience at this restaurant this year was around in end of May with ma boy at the Changi Airport outlet around 3pm (awkward timing for a meal haha).

Today I'll be blogging about my most recent monthly poly clique gathering session hahaha

Recently after returning from Korea, I've been pretty into makeup!!! In the past, I was only interested in skincare as you can see in my previous haul (I'm still pretty obsessed with skincare products haha) and didn't really give makeup much thought at all! But after spending a month in Korea and seeing so many chio bu in Korea wherever I go, I can't help but start looking into makeup hahaha

So for my upcoming Korean haul post, you'll get to see lots of skincare and makeup stuffs that I've purchased during my recent Korea Summer Studies trip hahaha

I'm still a total newbie to makeup so if you guys have got any tips or whatsoever in makeup (especially in covering up scars), be sure to comment and share it with me!! ^_^ I would really appreciate it hahaha

Anyhoo, moving on to my August 2014 gathering hehe

Last month, me and my poly clique went to Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao at Holland Village to celebrate MS's birthday! :)

Let's get on with the good food haha!!!

First up is the Yuan Yang hot pot! :) The soups on each side both taste super AWESOME!

Recently, I went into Johor Bahru again with MS and ma boy to go to Thai Odyssey again for a good massage haha but this time, MS brought us to Teck Sing Restaurant which is famous for their Paper Baked Chicken before our massage session!

I'm finally back to blogging!!!

So sorry everybody for haven't been blogging for an entire month but I was really busy with my school work, exams and my 21st Birthday celebration for the past month so I was practically either super busy with school or going out like mad (after exams of course haha) every single day!

But I'm back now for good haha and in this past month, I have also finished using some of my skincare products and also bought new ones from Laneige to make use of my membership birthday gift haha so be sure to stay tune as I will be posting my reviews and opinions on them soon! :)

Today, I will be sharing with you guys my experience during the Laneige Brighten Up Workshop which I attended back in March. Yes I know, this is a super long overdue post but it's still better late than nothing right? :)

So let's begin!! :D

Back in February, my friends and I signed up for the Laneige Brighten Up Workshop as we have not attend a make up and skincare workshop before so we thought of going for it and learn how to improve our skin! :D

At the workshop, tables with full range of make up and beautiful mirrors being set up for us haha! :)

Just having some double date time at Aranda Country Club's karaoke with MS and her boyfriend after one of my friend's 21st birthday haha

The party was overcrowded and we couldn't fit quite into it so we just came out and sing our lungs out in the middle of the night hahaha

The price was relatively cheap! $10+++ with free flow of hot or cold drinks till 12am and you can sing till 1am (on Fri, Sat & eve of PH only though)!! :)

We had dinner at King Louis Grill and Bar!

There's fish, chicken and pork altogether in one platter and it tastes pretty good haha

Recently, me and my uni girlfriends went out to have a Girls' Day Out to celebrate one of my friend's 21st birthday! :)

First stop was at Four Fingers for lunch when we were shopping for the birthday gift haha :)

The spicy flavor is seriously super spicy >_< Way too spicy for my liking

Then after lunch, we went to KBox at Scape to sing karaoke before going to Genki Sushi for dinner!! (YAY I LOVE GENKI<3)

My last day of 2013 was well spent with my poly besties hehe :) I had a double date dinner at SShikshin at Tampines 1 with ma dear MS and her boyfriend before we went to my house where we had a drinking session.
