Volume Rebonding @ Rise Hair Studio

Do you ladies out there have problems with frizzy, unmanageable and lion-mane looking hair before??

Let me show you mine as an example first!

Very jialat (bad) right? Literally is lion mane seriously with all the frizz and hairs sticking out like static outwards. I actually thought that I had a rather good hair day on that day somemore sia. So can you imagine how my mane looks on bad hair day? (Explosion boooooom hair)

But luckily, there is a solution for this and more importantly, in a pair of good hands too!!

When I was there, I did not have any hairstyles, colour and etc in mind to do to my hair so I just let the director of Rise, Agassi who has over 2 decades of experiences, decide and perform his magic on my mane haha. 

He recommended me to do Volume Rebonding for my hair so that my hair will be more neat but at the same time have some big wave curls at the ends to have more volume instead of the typical flat, straight kind of rebond which he felt won't be suitable for my face shape (to put it in another perspective, it is because my head big that's why haha)

And when I really compare with my hair at the end of the session, it was then I realize what a truly good-hair-day hair should look like hahaha

The interior of the salon is very cozy and speaking about Quality, unlike any other salon that I've been to, over here they serve teas from TWG! Double thumbs up for the quality and effort they make towards making sure that all clients are comfortable when beautifying themselves here!!

In addition, the products that they utilize here for shampoos, conditioners and treatments are all from John Masters Organics which is a highly popular organic solution brand from USA. The packaging of all the products are made from recycled material and hence environmentally friendly :)

I've been eyeing to try out this brand at Sephora for quite some time already but just don't have the courage to spend so much money on a shampoo and conditioner that I've never tried before >_<

However, I'm definitely set on getting them soon after seeing it leaving my hair soft and healthy at Rise :) 

Now, time for the highlight of the day - Volume Rebonding

First step for Volume Rebonding - application of the smoothening cream on the top portion of your hair, followed by putting a thin film of plastic over it to prevent your hair from being heated up too much. :) Slight heat helps in the absorption of the cream so that the rebonding effect will be better!

Next step after your hair is being straightened will be slight trimming and layering of the hair followed by the perming of the bottom portion! You will need to trim your hair a little so that the curls will turn out to be more natural and bouncing naturally :) 

Pardon me, but I find the perming machine rather scary but intriguing looking at the same time cuz it's my first time doing perming haha

But don't worry, you won't feel anything when it's being attached to your hair :)

3rd step is putting smoothening cream all over the top portion again!

Finally, washing all the cream off and blow dry!

Voila!!! Major major love the results seriously! 너무 예뻐 (so pretty)!!!

My hair is definitely a lot neater and healthier looking now.

I super love the silky silky feeling of my hair too! ^_^

Nowadays, I don't even need to style my hair or whatsoever my hair will look super nice still!

Major time saving especially in the morning(s) when I need to rush to class hahaha

And I also noticed that my hair barely have any split ends for the past few weeks since the volume rebonding session especially when perming was done to the ends of my hair!! I've seen some of my friends who permed their hair and ended up with really fried and dry hair but that's not the case for me.
