Last Saturday morning, I was invited to a Beauty Workshop organized jointly by Panasonic and omy.sg and conducted by Singapore's celebrity wellness guru, Bryan Gan (a.k.a Bryan Lao Shi hahaha) :)
Bryan Lao Shi has a really wide knowledge on wellness and has been a regular on 3 seasons of the popular variety talkshow - “Lady’s First” (女人我最大). During the workshop, he has taught us so much on how we can improve our health and achieve beauty from inside out just like he did (and still doing!). I will be sharing with you guys my experiences at the beauty workshop as well as a special promotion which Panasonic has kindly given to all my dear readers so do continue to read on till the end! ^_^
(By the way, my camera - EX2F is getting old so its focusing is getting haywire and hence quite a few of the photos are kinda blur so I'm really sorry about it! >_<)
Anw, can you all guess how old is Bryan Lao Shi?
He's already 43 year old wohh!! And yet his skin is still so radiant and firm!! *shock*
The first thing that he taught us at the beauty workshop is to breathe well.
Breathing well helps to regulate a lot of Qi (energy flow) in your body as well as building & maintaining your lungs capacity and here is the technique that he shared with us at the workshop:
1) Exhale with a "shhhhhhhhhhhhhh" sound
2) Inhale for 4 seconds
3) Hold your breath for 7 seconds
4) Exhale for 8 seconds
Bryan lao shi recommends doing this 3 times every morning when you wake up and every night before you sleep! :)
I've been doing it 3 times every night (morning didn't do cuz rushing to go to work >_<) ever since the workshop before I go to bed and I've realized that I am able to go into sleep really quickly afterwards! So do give it a try especially if you have insomnia problems like me!
Afterwhich, we moved onto the introduction of a few tools that can help in raising your skin (& body) wellness! ^_^
The first tool that he introduced us to achieving firm skin is the use of the Panasonic Facial Roller EH-SP32 (cordless)!
The Facial Roller comes with two kinds of roller heads, 1 which is in the V shape and 1 in a flatter and wider width!
Roll liao shiok shiok one!
This is the flatter roller head which is mainly used for wide facial areas such as the cheeks and forehead :) Rmb to roll in upwards motion!
And this is Bryan Lao Shi demo-ing the V shape roller head on his jawline.
I've tried the V shape roller personally at the workshop as well and I find the roller able to gently latch onto your muscle really well and as you roll it in the upwards direction, it helps to lift your skin and at the same time relaxes your muscle too! :)
The Facial Roller also has a heating element which creates a warming effect on the skin that can help to relax you even more with the perfect amount of pressure ^_^
So relaxing until so happy hahaha
You can also use the roller to massage different areas of your body such as neck and calves area which can get easily sore! :)
The 2nd tool that was introduced is the Panasonic Eye Warming Massager EH-SW50!

This eye massager emits warm steam that helps in moisturizing the eye area while providing vibrating massage (comes in 2 different modes) to help relieve eye strain! It is rechargeable and compact in size too! :)
Kinda sad that I didn't get to try this product out personally during the workshop but I'm definitely going to check this out more in the near future because my eyes gets so tired and dry at the end of the day. If you're like me who stares at the computer 3/4 time of a day (life of a Computer Science student), you may wanna check this out as well!
And I'm so sorry to report that this item is not part of the promo that I'll be introducing you all later because according to the staff from Panasonic it is selling like hotcakes around SG and lots of places are out of stock for it!! :( I myself is really into this item too!

The 3rd tool that was introduced is this Panasonic Facial Cool Putter EH-SQ10! (Didn't managed to snap a good close up of this tool, so sorry >_<)
This tool is the opposite of the previous two tools where by it has a cooling effect which reaches about 15 degrees celcius and instantly helps in cooling and tightening your skin!! :) Special treatment has been made to the skin contact surface as well to prevent metal allergy from happening! Really thoughtful and it's design is very portable and easy to travel around with! :)
This tool will be very useful for puffy eyes haha (Y)
The last tool that was introduced is the Panasonic Compact Facial Steamer EH-SA31!
This facial steamer emits nano particle ion steam which helps to reduce facial oil and sebum and at the same time provides deep moisture retention to the skin which helps in increasing firmness and suppleness. In addition, using a facial steamer helps to refine pores and achieve smoother skin too! :)
Bryan Lao Shi also gave us an additional tip which is to use a cotton pad and drop one to two drops of facial and/or aroma oil on it and paste the cotton pad on the facial steamer itself just like the following picture!
This method helps to further boost the benefits that your skin will be able to receive with the use of the facial steamer as the aroma and nutrients of the oil gets emitted even better with the steam! :) The aroma of the oil can help in relaxing yourself even further when you're steaming your face too! A really great tip here!!
