GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask

Hello everybody, today I'm finally bringing you a beauty review after a pretty long while haha.

And it is the GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask which I'm really excited to review about!! :)

Just a little background..

I have always seen this mask around in Sephora stores but didn't get around to try it personally until few months back when I was selected for the Sephora Beauty Voyage event! 

At the Beauty Voyage, they had an area where we can try out the various masks from GLAMGLOW but due to time constraint (cuz we went during the night time session), we only got to try their eye mud mask and one of their three signature face mud mask.

And the one that the beauty advisor recommended me for my skin type & issue is this GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment mask :)

I tell you, I was completely sold the moment the mask was on my face!!

I was like I need this mask in my life because it really works wonders and its 10x more effective than my Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask which was once my holy grail acne treatment mask but no longer anymore! (Of course the price of the Supermud is also 10x more ahh)

So about a month later, I finally got my hands on this mask during the Sephora sales in May!! hehe

The product itself is rather liquid-y but goes on very smoothly. :)

I personally find that applying the mask with a clean brush is the easiest way to get ample product onto your face as compared to using your fingers which can sometimes get rather patchy and inconsistent!

So how does this mask exactly work wonders?

It is because... I could actually feel it sucking all the dirt out from my pores!! In addition, it has this cooling sensation on my skin throughout the application until it is closed to fully drying up!

With the Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask, I felt none of this sensation at all! 

And that has totally made me jump ship from Innisfree to GLAMGLOW haha! I love it totally!!

In addition, it dries up faster and it's easier to wash off as compared to my Innisfree one!

This was taken just about 2-3 minutes after application of the Supermud and my nose portion is already pretty much all dried up and already sucking out my oil!

When it has fully dried, you can clearly see which part of your face is dry/oily because the mask is able to help you suck out the impurities and oils out of your pores!!

And very clearly, my nose is ultra oily!

And dry to normal skin on the cheeks!

It's no wonder that I keep getting shiny forehead and nose every single day.

After rinsing it off, my skin is silky smooth! That's how well it has worked on me even after several use! :)

If you leave on the mask for too long, you'll feel a little dry on your cheeks but it is the same for all other exfoliation masks I've used so do make sure you moisturize your skin well after doing such mask treatments. Your skin will be able to absorb all the nutrients it needs even better too after exfoliation :)

So how would I rate this product?

Effectiveness - 10/5 *CLAPCLAPCLAP*

Price - 2/5 cuz it's a hefty SGD$92 for 30ml of product!

Value for money - 4/5 because you buy 10 tubs of Innisfree Super Volcanic Mask also cannot achieve the results you can get from just 1 use of the GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment!!

Overall, 5.5/5 hahaha

Seriously it's a must-buy and/or must-try product especially for acne-prone skin types because this mask is more than just an exfoliation mask! It helps to cool down on top of sucking out impurities from your pores!! ^_^

I will definitely go back to this mask unless I find something even more effective than this!

Before I end off, remember to always moisturize your skin well after doing any form of exfoliation to your skin!! :)
