Since the year will be ending soon, I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some of my favorite products of the year! There's lots of them from various different categories so I will be splitting them into separate post (likely will be spanned to 2016 >_<) haha.
Today, I will be talking about my favourite face masks of the year!! ^_^
Depending on my skin's mood, I would usually reach out to one of these three masks as they have the best performance among all the masks I've tried for this year haha.
First up is the Skinfood Black Sugar Mask!
Whenever bumps decide to surface on my skin, I always turn to this mask to help me smoothen them out. :) In addition, I can also choose to use it as a face scrub or a mask depending on the amount of time I have. When I use it as a mask, I rub the product all over my face and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes before I wash it off but on days when I'm feeling lazy or in a rush to head to bed, I would just use it to scrub my face and wash it off immediately.
I also like that the mask is able to glide on easily onto my skin without much rubbing and tugging required as compared to some of the masks I've tried in the past. <3
Score: 8/10
Next up is the Coast to Coast Ultra Soothing White Clay Mask!
This mask is catered for when my skin is feeling sensitive and gets red very easily. It soothes and calms my skin down extremely well and my skin would feel less easily irritated immediately the next day. :)
Probably the only downside of this mask is that it is rather difficult to apply onto the skin as compared to the other two masks so what I do is I wet my face and hands to allow the product to be spread evenly on my face and thereafter I put it on for about 15-20 minutes before I rinse it off. :)
Score: 7.5/10
The last mask is the GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask which I've reviewed before in the past. (You can read my full review here. :D) This mask is the ultimate mask I go to for clearing impurities deep in my pores and I would normally use this if the Skinfood Black Sugar Mask didn't manage to clear up all my skin textures mainly because it is so much more expensive as compared to the Skinfood one so I don't want to use it up too fast haha.
Score: 10.5/10 <3
Here is how the products from the three masks look like when applied onto the skin! :)
After I have washed off the mask (which ever I've applied onto my face on the day itself), I would follow up with applying either my Innisfree Green Persimmon Pore Pack or my trusty Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence and put on a sheet mask for about 20 minutes to give my skin a hydration boost before I go to bed. :) I usually go with Innisfree's sheet mask as well because so far their sheet masks have worked the best on my skin. <3
You can check out my full routine whenever I get horrible hormonal breakouts here. (I no longer use the Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask though because it's performance cannot compare at all with GLAMGLOW's Supermud >_< Sorry!!)
I hope this post would be helpful in your hunt for a face mask depending on your skin needs and be sure to comment below and share with me what are some of your favorite masks! ^_^
xoxo, Luna
