Sistema Microwaveable Noodle Bowl

After living in hall for approximately 3 months, I would like to share a tip on what I found and do to prepare a meal for myself. Whenever I'm too lazy to walk more than 20 steps out to buy food from my hall's canteen, I always cook (microwave to be exact) food for myself at the pantry.

 I am very lazy when it comes to cooking because I hate dish washing. I also don't like to wait very long at the stove for my meal to be cooked (even though the food I always eat are either instant porridge / noodles) so microwaving is the only solution because I can go back to my room and do other stuffs first before going back to the pantry again to collect the food.

And when I first started to microwaving instant porridge and/or noodles, it ends up like this:

I don't know if this only happens to me or what but it really looks quite disgusting and unappealing. Most importantly, it's EXTREMELY HARD to wash because the food content just won't stop overflowing!!! (Probably cuz my hall's microwave is too sucky already)

So, I decided to get this microwave bowl over here!!!

I really like that it's in a bowl shape cuz a lot that I saw were in lunchbox size which is does not fit instant noodles at all! (Lucky that I found this haha) 

I also really like that it comes with a handle! It just makes taking the bowl out of the microwave so much easier and less painful! (The heat always hurts pretty badly when I take out ceramic bowl in the past) Great design!!! :DDD

It also comes with a vent that allows steam to go out and microwave heat to go in so that the food can be cooked and at the same time minimizes overflowing! (No more troublesome washing!! ^^)

Sistema Noodle Bowl with BPA free! This is the brand and name of the bowl in case if you wanna get it! And not to mention it's Made in New Zealand! I feel a lot safer already haha 

For a Made in New Zealand product, I think the price of $12.90 is pretty reasonable :)

It also can be used as an air tight container if you're not gonna use it for microwave! I love multi-purpose stuffs hehe :)

End product of my food after changing my usual ceramic bowl to the Sistema Noodle Bowl :) Looks much nicer and appetizing right!!!!!!!!!! There's still a little bit of overflow after using this bowl but it is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the first photo of this post. I don't have to keep on scrubbing my bowl to get rid of all the food from all over the place (the bowl) anymore!!!!! YAY!! ^^

So, if you do use the microwave to cook your food pretty often, do consider getting one of these bowls or lunchboxes! It will save you lots of hassle!! :D
