Hey ladies, today I will be doing a side by side review of the Philosophy Kiss Me Lip Treatment and the Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment :)
Previously when I have finished using up my Laneige Moisture Lip Balm, I went to purchase the Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment then the Philosophy Kiss Me when the I ran out of the Josie Maran one haha. Both were bought at Sephora :)
I'm sure Philosophy & Josie Maran are not new to you as they are both ultra famous in the beauty industry haha
Josie Maran is very famous for their 100% Argan Oil which I am also currently using whenever I go back home during the weekends from NTU hall haha
As for Philosophy, I'm a big fan of their Purity cleanser and Time in a Bottle lotion :) Both deliver great results and that would have to be in a separate review.
I will start off with the review of the Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment first as I bought this product first before the Philosophy one.
My Ratings:
Moisturizing Effectiveness - 2/5
Packaging - 5/5
Scent - 3.5/5
With the Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment, I didn't witness any major improvements in my lips' condition. Even with several thick layer of applications per day (that's why I emptied it out super quickly), I still see flakes and dry patches on the worst days so this lip treatment is definitely not a miracle worker. In fact, it performed way worse than my previous Burt's Bees Ultra Moisturizing Lip Balm and Laneige Moisture Lip Balm even though it's price is much higher than both of them.
Definitely not worth buying and not recommending it to anybody.
The only think I like about it is definitely its cute packaging but that is all.

Moving on to the Philosophy Kiss Me Lip Treatment!!
It promises conditioning and soothing dry cracked lips as well as restoring the healthy and rosy appearance of the lips!

It is thicker and slightly more waxy when you first pick up the product from the tub and it is definitely much more moisturizing than the Josie Maran one and if you were to slather on a thick layer overnight, your lips will feel very supple the next day :) Me like it hehe
Rosy and healthy looking wise, I think it did achieve it but just very slightly though.

Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment (Left) VS Philosophy Kiss Me Lip Treatment (Right)
It's really obvious which lip treatment is more moisturizing even without me explaining anything actually.
For packaging wise, Josie Maran one definitely wins because it's just so cute!
Price point wise, they are very similar as well so I would definitely with the Philosophy one as it gives me the results I need (I am okay with a not so cute packaging haha as long as the results are good) :)
