Back to Day #25 in Korea!! :)
Day #25 was quite chill and we didn't really go much places like other days haha
Starting off with lunch after class, we went to Sinchon and picked out a random Korean BBQ restaurant to have some makchang and meatttttt
And the boss was really kind to give us complimentary steam egg and doenjang jjigae (Soybean Stew)! ^_^
After that we went to Myeongdong to do some shopping and went to get some bingsoo at Sulbing cuz I was craving for their redbean with milk bingsoo hahaha
And while I was at Aritaum shopping, one of the SA approached YX and asked if we would like to get a complimentary gel manicure!
The SA who did my nails was really kind and I went back to that store again another day to look for her when I went to Myeongdong again for some last minute shopping before we went back to SG haha (She gave me lots of good freebies when I went back 2nd time haha)
After shopping at Myeongdong, we then went to Apgujeong Rodeo Street (finally) which we failed to find our way to previously when we were in Apgujeong haha
Supermodel pose again hahahaha
There wasn't much people on the streets on that day. Not sure is it because of the gloomy weather or whether this area just doesn't have much people :/ But anyway we didn't managed to buy anything or whatsoever, really simply just walk around, take photos and bought a delicious croissant from Paris Croissant before we went back haha
You have to get a croissant from Paris Croissant when you visit Korea!! They have the best croissant I've ever tried so far seriously!! Recommended by YX's buddy haha
After that, we went on to try to look for SM Entertainment since they were close by but again, we lost our way and we found this super gigantic poster of f(x) Red Light album instead of SM Entertainment lolol
Lai selfie selfie!~
We ended up giving up on finding the SM Entertainment building and walked to the nearest station - Apgujeong Rodeo station to go back to Ewha and we found this to our surprise!
G Star Zone!! We didn't even know that they have this here lolol
You can listen to KPOP right here at the station haha
Taecyeon!!! <3
That's it to Day #25! Moving on to Day #26!
Day #26 was our field trip day and Ewha is bringing all of us to the Demilitarized Zone!! :)
Starting off with my breakfast which I eat almost everyday because this is the cheapest among all!!
800won bread from Paris Baguette!! This is what I always buy for breakfast and the only times I never buy them is either they are already sold out or on days where we will be leaving our dorms on a later time
At the DMZ!!!
Freedom Bridge!! I was totally wandering around the entire area haha
The weather was really bright and hot!
The future subway station which will operate through both South and North Korea when they unify!
Group photo with 1/4 of the entire Ewhaians group haha
In here you can purchase a ticket (forgot the exact cost but it was below 1000won) to visit the train below haha
It is non-operational so we only can take photos with it for memorial
You can also collect stamps over here for memorial purposes :)
The stamps patterns are those on the back of the ticket!
This is the observatory area where you can see North Korea from far!!
You can choose to use the binoculars as well to view North Korea but you'll have to pay for it though!
After that we were brought to this restaurant called Yoree for some Beef Bulgogi and Bibimbap for those who don't eat beef like me!
This restaurant is seriously very beautiful!
My Bibimbap!! I think the one I had at Korean Folk Village tasted much nicer though
After our lunch, we went back to Ewha and me and YX met up with our buddy to have dinner again haha
This time she brought us to this restaurant where they serve lots of seafood dishes but we three got a medium Haemul Jjim - Seafood Stew and oh god, the serving is HUGE!!!!! :)
도토리 ^_^ My favourite Korean side dish :)
Look at the serving man omg!!! We three can't finish all of it at all haha
After that we still went to have some Bingsoo for desert even though we were freaking full lolol
But this time round we didn't go to Sulbing, instead our buddy brought us to this bingsoo shop called Jokdubang which sells bingsoo that has healthier ingredients and toppings (a.k.a. fresh fruits) hahaha
And we ordered the strawberries one and holy moly, they taste god damn good and even better than Sulbing to be honest because the strawberries are sooooooo sweet!!!
If only Singapore's strawberries are that sweet too I would have been eating them every single day hahahahahaha
Ending off with a group photo before we dig in haha
That's the end of Day #26 :)
Till next time~~~
This is a great post
