Sometime ago, I was invited to an informative event by ClearSK Medi-Aesthetics at their flagship store located at Scotts Medical Centre (within Pacific Plaza)!
The reason why ClearSK is called a Medi-Aesthetics is because all the treatments that ClearSK provides are clinically proven and protocols are designed and tested by doctors from CSK Laser Aesthetic Group Clinics. :) Therefore, Medi (Medicine) - Aesthetics :)
The number 1 thing that I've learnt from that session is that, you no longer have to go under the knife to enhance your features. Here at ClearSK, they have programs that are capable of enhancing your skin, face, and body shape in a non-invasive and safe manner! :)

The 1st program is the DrEyes!
Do you know that you can only do eye bag removal ONCE in your lifetime? I don't know about that too until Dr. Shiau told us, so if you ever want to undergo surgical eye bag removal, it is recommended that you go for it during your late 40s - 50s instead of 20s - 30s because you cannot do it again once you've done before!
However, right now, there's an alternative solution and that is the DrEyes!
DrEyes is a simple, non-surgical treatment that helps to remove eye bags using RF micro-insulated needle system that does not cause any downtime. :) In addition, this treatment is able to reduce wrinkles as well! Safe and non-invasive!! (Y)
The 2nd program is the DrShape 3D Body / Face Shaper!
This DrShape program uses technology-powered treatments which targets all types of body fats and the main 3 technologies are:
1) LaserSlim: Melting of soft fat. A single session (about 30mins) is equivalent to spending three hours working out in the gym!
2) Focused Ultrasound: Breaks down hard fats by harnessing patented ultrasound resonance system using a selected frequency!
3) CoolSculpt Plus: Meant for destroying stubborn fat cells using an advanced cold therapy!! The fat cells are reduced with intense cooling and after which the treated fat cells are crystallized and eventually die and expunged from the body naturally!
Interesting indeed and definitely more comforting and assured than surgical procedures!
Now, let me take you on a tour of ClearSK's flagship outlet :)
The interior design is modeled after luxurious hotels and hence has a very luxurious and cozy feel to it haha! :)
My ultimate favorite is definitely this vintage and high society vibe treatment room :) Totally in love with the interior of this room <3
They have a photoshoot area specially for taking before and after shots!! That's just so cool and I've been thinking of getting some lighting equipment for quite a long while too for my blog! I also got the opportunity to try out ClearSK's brightening skincare series travel set which I brought with me during my recent trip to Hong Kong! ^^
I'll be bringing you a short review on what I thought of their products :)
First up is the Brightening Cleanser! This cleanser has a citrus fragrance to it and doesn't lathers up a lot so it'll be good for people with sensitive eyes!
In terms of cleansing power, it is on the gentler side so I have the feeling that I'll need to go another round of cleansing on days I have makeup on but on days I don't have makeup on, one time of cleansing is sufficient :)
Next up is the Brightening Toner! As I didn't bring any cotton pads with me during my trip to Hong Kong, hence I used my hands to apply the toner to my face directly and it is able to get absorbed really quickly into my skin. :)
However, I feel that with this toner, it'll be better if you apply it with a cotton pad as it is more soothing (I tried using it with a cotton pad after I came back to SG haha) that way compared to applying with your hands.
Followed by the Lazer White Lotion! It is very light weight and like the toner, gets absorbed really quickly into the skin and my skin would be nicely prep after using it :) With makeup on top of this lotion, I'm able to achieve a more radiant and luminous look. ^_^ Really enjoyed using it in the day :)
However, as it is a light-weighted lotion, it wasn't moisturizing enough for the strong air-conditioning environment that my hotel room has so I had to alternate between a hydration mask pack and this lotion before my bedtime during my trip. Therefore if you have dry skin, you'll probably need to apply another layer of moisturizer after this step.
Finally, my favorite among the four is definitely this Sunshield SPF 50 with an Enhanced 3D technology whereby it does not only shields you from harmful UV rays from the sun but also those that are produced from our indoor lights and even your computers as well! It's very light weight, fast absorption, oil free and last but not least, it is tinted!!
Hence, I use it as both a primer and sunscreen to cover some of my face's redness and provide UV protection at the same time! ^_^ Totally in love with this sunscreen :)
