Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick

Today will be my first review on makeup haha. It will be a short one as I need to quickly get back to my pile of projects and recorded lectures sobs.

The first makeup product I will be reviewing is the first foundation that I bought and that is the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick!

The reason why I bought this foundation is:

1) I need something that has higher coverage than BB creams because of my ugly acne scars are way too hideous!

2) This foundation is easy to apply and very fuss free as I do not have to get my hands messy with all the make up and if there's a need to touch up, it can be easily done as well because of it being in a stick form! :)

3) This foundation claims to have natural satin finish while providing medium to full coverage!

4) Shea butter is included into this foundation's and hence it provides moisturization for the skin while giving coverage :)

These are the ingredients in the foundation!

My shade is in No. 2 Sand :)

Bobbi brown foundations tend to have more yellow undertones to their shades according to the research I've done before the purchase so their foundations really suit Asian skin color very well! :)

Not to mention that they have a very wide range of shades to choose from too!!

My views on this foundation:

Firstly, what I like about this foundation is that it really does give a very natural satin finish and the shade matches my skin tone really well as well. Also, it is also able to provide enough coverage to cover my scars without caking them up even after applying 2 layers on these problematic areas.

However, what I don't like about this foundation is that it does not last long on my face.

Whenever I sweat or just stay in the outdoors for around 1-2 hours, the foundation is almost all gone from my face and retouching it on a greasy face is quite gross actually so that's the only issue I have after using it for the past few months.

It could be because I have oily combination skin which resulted in the foundation slipping off my face so if your skin is towards the dry side, do consider this foundation as it is really easy to apply and gives a very nice finishing as well :)

As for repurchase, I would probably not repurchase this foundation if I managed to find another foundation that can last longer on my skin and at the same time has a similar finishing as the Bobbi Brown one.

Moreover, this foundation costs $68 so it's not cheap at all. But I would have to say that the amount of product you get in this foundation stick is quite substantial and will most probably be able to last for about 3 to 5 months (unless if you apply 3 layers each time) so still quite worth it ahh in my opinion. :D
