Brunch at IKEA

During one of ma boy's book out day, we went to IKEA not only to window shopping their furnitures, but more importantly, is to eat their fooooood! #nomnom

For me, there are two must-order dishes at IKEA.

No. 1 is their soup of the day.

Usually I would order their cream of mushroom soup which is totally awesome but this time round, they were serving salmon chowder!! I'm a total salmon freak so salmon chowder?! Of course I will definitely go for it and it tastes MUCH better than their usual mushroom soup. ^_^ Hopefully they will serve their salmon chowder more often in future <3

No. 2 is their Gravad Lax

It consists of slices of Salmon cured in dill and mild spices with sweet mustard sauce! :)

It's more of an appetizer but I total love it like a main course haha!

The salmon tastes so sweet, tender and AWESOME! :) Major love this haha

Next up is ma boy's dish: Chicken Cordon Bleu with Mashed Potato and Mixed Vegetable (Ma boy ordered this because of the mashed potato though hahaha. He's a potato freak!)

Well, the name sounds very interesting and it does look interesting because the inner part of the chicken is pretty cheesy!

Taste wise to me was normal because although the chicken taste fragrant and cripsy, the meat texture was dry. So it just averages out my rating for this dish haha.
